Raine's Levequest Board
"In a realm as large as this one, there will always be those who are looking for someone willing to assist them with their troubles. Instead of doing the searching on their own, they often come to a local guild or similar organization to have their petition documented.
These tasks are called “levequests,” and if someone happens to be interested in accepting one, they are presented with a leve plate that is used in conjunction with the quest. Leve plates are, in effect, passes which grant their bearers “leave” to perform various actions which might otherwise be prohibited, such as the eradication of beasts, admittance to restricted areas, and more."

Raine Ronain is a traveling levemete. It's a strange choice, admittedly, but she's a Bastard of Oschon and no one's ever had luck pinning one of those down terribly long.
Often marked by her distinctive black, spiky armor and wolf mask combination, she's not terribly difficult to spot in a crowd, at least, and if you're willing, she has work.
Just ignore the gruffness.
OOC About
In order to claim a levequest, one must first talk to Raine IC and confirm their intent. After being assigned, there is a 2 week time limit of completion (unless otherwise specified/discussed.) If the quest is not completed within that time, it will be made available for public claiming again.
Once claimed, I will DM you on Discord details which may include challenges which have to be ICly overcome in the levequest (and must be addressed to complete it), secrets that may be discovered, and complications that may arise.
Levequests can then be completed by either DM'd event, short story, gpose stories, or other creative medium. Once the desired medium is submitted (via Discord), the levequest is considered complete, but your character will have to ICly catch Raine again to be paid.
Rewards for completing a levequest may include gil (actual OOC gil will be given), reputation gain tracked on the Characters tab (with consent), and potential bonus items. If you want your character to gain something specific from a levequest, coordinate with me and we can give them a cool story reason to have it!

Rules
The goal of the board is to further flesh out the world and characters in the RP sphere, hopefully making some stories along the way.
Please have fun with it!In order to pick-up a levequest and to turn-in a levequest, your character must ICly be talking to Raine.
For coordination purposes, we must connect on Discord before I mark the levequest as taken. If you don't want to share your Discord, I understand, but that means you won't be able to take a levequest from the board.
If you need more time, ask, but please be considerate of others!
There's a limited supply of levequests and some make others available.I reserve the right to deny a levequest turn-in even if it's already been written/posed.
Anyone can choose to DM one of these levequests. I can provide potential challenges/complications and will highlight what secrets are essential to make sure the quiet overworld plot of the levequests make sense.

Tips
Levequests that have already been claimed will be marked CLAIMED.
Some levequests allow for multiple claimants and will thus not be marked CLAIMED.
Not all levequests need to be successful.
If you have your character fail, they can claim double experience but no gil.
If you choose to embark on a levequest with a friend, payment will be doubled.
Upon accepting a levequest, I might give a few things to guide your process...
Secrets: Things your character might uncover in their investigation.
Challenges: Obstacles that must be addressed in your writing/posing.
Your character's recorded level on the Characters tab must be equal to or greater than the levequest's level or you cannot take it.
Characters are listed in order of senority.
If any information present is wrong, please contact me.Every level requires experience equivalent to surpass.
You need 1 XP to level from 1 to 2.
2 XP to level from 2 to 3.
3 XP to level from 3 to 4.
Etc.For now, higher levels means future access to higher paying jobs.
Red quests mean they were failed (and are thus double XP.)

Summary:
Tab-I-Carrin and Tiki Feradana arrive at the scene and study the ambling ashkin nearby to discover they do not hold traces of necromancy nor Voidsent magic. Upon realizing the ashkin group looks to be former adventurers, the two make a plan to lure them out and kill them one by one.
The first ashkin to be lured was once a pugilist, coming in low, fast - only to be met with Tiki's spear to its throat. It dies in a fanfare explosion of mushroom spores, sending Tiki sprawling back into Tab-I-Carrin. Tab clears the air with a crosswind, but it's too late; Tiki's already inhaled spores.
In an attempt to stop from all of the ashkin from exploding in spores, Tab-I-Carrin appeals to the Elementals to allow her to use White Magic. Their answer comes in the form of confusion; why would she need to use White Magic against plants?
They are beset by more of the ashkin and soon, they clear out the lot of them with arrow and spell, using a scarf to protect from inhaling more spores. In the aftermath, Tab-I-Carrin drains the spores' aether to stop their sprouting on Tiki's skin.
Task completed, they call forth the cart to take away the bodies and note in their conversation the perturbing truth: the askin had been filled with roots and were, seemingly, animated by the mushrooms within them.
Someone or something had killed these adventurers and filled their bodies with a wicked kind of mushroom that spread out and puppeteered their corpses.

Summary:
Thanks to their collective wisdom and preparations, Gerelt, Lilina, Rhaske, and Sweet Mallow did not have to go hog hunting in the Bramble Patch itself. Speaking to the Hunter-Scholar and a Sylph better outlined the party’s plan of action, earned some truffles, and led to the capture of a mischievous little truffle hunter. As such, Sweet Mallow watched over the party’s cart and first captured piglet in the Hawthorne Hut while Gerelt, Lilina, and Rhaske ventured to the Honey Yard with sleep draughted truffles and hampering snares.The truffles indeed proved useful for the adventurers. Not only did they capture a sow and 3 piglets, but they also subdued 2 other piglets that had been trampling through the beehives and flowers of Fullflower Comb. Another boar alas had to be put down by Gerelt and Rhaske, being deemed too aggressive to potentially capture or let live, lest it invade the beekeeping farm again. Otherwise, the party encountered no further trouble transporting the hogs from the East Shroud to the South Shroud.Those of the Trappers’ League were appreciative of the work the adventurers had done. Besides a few scrapes and bruises from struggle, every captive boar was in healthy enough condition to be taken into Quarrymill’s nearby domestication pen. His leve bill marked for a successful completion, Gerelt then offered to grill meat and any edible truffles. So it was that the four adventures enjoyed a late lunch and cold ale together in the Shroud…

In a two day venture, our adventurers found themselves walking up to a village on the far North side of the Black Shroud. Tasked with finding Ailmar Bekker, the pair entered and conversed with the guards at the gate on a rainy evening. Rumors of vanishing townsfolk and suspiscious outsiders would indicate to the pair that they weren't just going to have to deal with Ailmar.As they entered, they noticed a group of people in front of a nearby building. Two guards hushing and offering words of encouragement to a grieving pregnant elezen.Victor, the miqo'te street rat, feigned ignorance of knowing Ahldwaen while trying to glean any and all information. Ahldwaen, an azure, golden adorned plated man shook his head, waiting for the other to finish. After some time, Victor would return with information in regards to a quarantine. Some sort of wailing erupted from the house, stealing both of their attention. They'd then find themselves looking for the Town Elder. With some assistance, they approached the village chief's home.While Victor was suspicious of the old man, Ahldwaen could only move to the chief's pace, holding true to the man's words to make use of the information provided. A false word's promise. The elder had already fallen prey to the deepeye's control, and had fooled the pair into believing he lay west, towards Proud Creek.
